Godfather starring megastar Chiranjeevi, Nayanthara and Salman Khan is a film that started with a low buzz. But the day one word of mouth and reviews were good making the team quite happy. Currently Chiranjeevi and the team of Godfather are on ninth cloud and the movie is turning out a money spinner at the box office. The 1st weekend collections are decent but that is not enough for the team. So, the film will be tested big time from this week days. The Dussehra holidays have been completed. Chiranjeevi revealed at the success meet that Salman Khan refused to take any money for the film. He acted in this film without any remuneration. Now the reports are coming that Mega Power Star Ram Charan has decided to gift Salman Khan a costly car in coming days and plans are being made for the same.
Salman Khan is very close to Megastar Chiranjeevi and his family. He also helped Ram Charan in the promotions of RRR. Chiranjeevi alongside Nayanthara the Mohan Raja directorial venture also has and Satyadev Kancharana in the important role.
Godfather is the remake of Malayalam film Lucifer starring Mohanlal. Recently during the media interaction, Mohan Raja said, “When we adopted the film for Telugu audiences, I wanted to portray it the way I perceived it and interpreted it, keeping in mind the tastes of the Telugu movie lovers and my own image.”
