Ram Charan’s Rangasthalam is first non-Baahubali Telugu film to achieve it Ram Charan and Samantha Akkineni starrer  village based drama ‘Rangasthalam’, directed by Sukumar which was released on 30th March is shattering several box office records.

According to the latest update, the movie has  finally crosses $3 Million at the US Box office.  Today morning, the industry tracker Jeevi tweeted, “#Rangasthalam crosses $3M in UsA “ Finally  Ram Charan’s Rangasthalam has crushed the record of Mahesh Babu’s Srimanthudu which has earned $2,890,786 at USA box office. Rangasthalam is now the third highest grossing Telugu film after Baahubali  1 and Baahubali 2:The Conclusion.

On the otherside, Rangasthalam witnessed the highest ever opening for a Telugu film at the Chennai box office. The movie has managed to rake Rs 1 crore gross at the Chennai box office, highest ever after Baahubali. The first quarter of 2018 has ended with a bang for Tollywood

 With over Rs 130 Cr in earnings from its first week worldwide,  Rangasthalam has given Telugu industry its first major blockbuster of the year and a much needed boost from the trade perspective to kick off the summer season in style. As big ticket films such as Bharat Ane Nenu starring Mahesh Babu & Kiara Advani  and Naa Peru Surya starring Allu Arjun & Anu Emmanuel are gearing up for release, the box office start Sukumar’s Rangasthalam has given is beyond exceptional and trade pundits believe it will work in favour of the industry.
