Ram Charan’s Rangasthalam not a Love StoryRam Charan’s much awaited movie ‘Rangasthalam’ is gearing up for its grand release on 30th  March. In the movie directed by Sukumar, Ram Charan will be seen playing the role of a deaf sound engineer named Chitti whereas Samantha Akkineni is the female lead in the movie.  If ongoing buzz in media and film Industry is to be believed, Rangasthalam is  not a love story , although the movie will have romantic thread between Ram Charan and Samantha but the sources say that  the actual plot of this upcoming drama is surrounded a murder mystery.

Ram Charan  as a deaf person will be seen  in the search of his brother’s killer. A deaf person searching for the dreaded gang that kills his elder brother brings an exciting angle to this period love story set in 1980s.  Cherry and Aadhi Pinisetty are playing the brothers in this village based  drama.  The sources close to the film unit say that the first half of the film will have romance between lead pair and bromance between Charan & Aadhi Pinisetty whereas the second half is loaded with  high voltage action sequences.

The makers are planning a huge promotional event ahead of the film’s release. As per latest updates the pre-release event of the film will be held in Vizag on 18th March on the occasion of Ugadhi, Telugu New Year. If reports are to be believed the audio event of this period drama will  take place in Hyderabad.  The film is being bankrolled by Mythri Movie makers and it has the music by Devi Sri Prasad.
