The cop thriller drama ‘Officer’ is bringing Akkineni Nagarjuna and Controversial film maker Ram Gopal Varma back together after a gap of nearly two and half decades. Interestingly, the last film duo had worked together was Govinda Govinda in which Sridevi played the female lead.
Myra Sareen is playing the female lead in officer, which is bankrolled by Sudeer Chandra and Ram Gopal Varma under the banner of R Company. Nagarjuna is essaying a cop, an encounter specialist in the film. The entire shoot of the film has been wrapped up. Today morning RGV tweeted, “Me and my assistant directors after the last shot of @Iamnagarjuna ‘s #Officer Sahil,Kalyan and Meghna to my right ..Rashmi and Kruthika on my left Hey guys thank you all for ur awesome support.”
RGV claimed that Nagarjuna’s role is the scariest cop ever to appear on Indian celluloid. The recently released teaser of the film has already proved this. Like many of his gangster films, Officer is also set in Mumbai and Nag’s character name in the film is Shiva.
Varma and Nag are very confident that they have got a winner in Officer. The movie is scheduled to hit the theaters on 25th May 2018.
