Ram Gopal Varma : Kangana Ranaut f***ing swept me away with her sheer intensity in ManikarnikaRam Gopal Varma is very impressed with the performance of Kangana Ranaut in her recent offering Manikarnika :The Queen of Jhansi, which was released on 25th January. RGV took to Twitter to heap praise on her.

Comparing Kangana Ranaut to the Bruce Lee, he wrote, “Wowwwww, Kangana Ranaut f***ing swept me away with her sheer intensity in Manikarnika… Last I witnessed such fury and ferocity was only in Bruce Lee in Enter The Dragon.”

Ram Gopal Varma also made another tweet and said that the actress made all other action heroes look bad. He tweeted, “All action heroes look like heroines in comparison to the greatest hero I ever saw on screen, Kangana Ranaut in Manikarnika.”

Before the release of Manikarnika, after watching its trailer, Ram Gopal Vamra took an indirect dig at Hrithik Roshan’s starrer Super 30.  He said, “The trailer of Kangana Ranaut’s Manikarnika:The Queen of Jhansi looks 3,000 times better than Super 30. “

Ram Gopal Varma aka RGV knows how to use social media sites to garner attention for his films. Currently he is busy in the promotional activities of his next upcoming film based on the life of late Chief Minister of United Andhra Pradesh- Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao, which is titled as Lakshmi’s NTR.

The Kangana Ranaut film Manikarnika released alongside Nawazuddin Siddiqui starrer Bal Thackeray biopic and has earned Rs 8.75 crore on its opening day. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared on Twitter, “#Manikarnika picked up towards evening, after an ordinary/dull start in morning… #RepublicDay holiday [today] should witness a big turnaround… Sure, there’s appreciation, but it has to convert into footfalls… Fri ₹ 8.75 cr. Apart from Kangana ranuat, Manikarnika has other stars like Atul Kulkarni, Jisshu Sengupta, Suresh Oberoi, Ankita Lokhande, Danny Denzongpa and others in supporting roles. KV Vijayendra Prasad (Father of SS Rajamouli) screenwriter of blockbusters like Baahubali and Bajrangi Bhaijaan, has penned the story of Manikarnika.
