As the work for the inauguration of the Ayodhya Ram Temple is going on at a fast pace, gifts are pouring in from the house of Ram. More than 3 thousand gifts reached Ayodhya from Janakpur in Nepal where Sita Devi was born. These include silver footwear, jewellery, clothing and silver bows.
Ram Roshandas, the priest of the Ramjanaki temple in Janakpur, donated them to the Sri Ramajanmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra Trust. 800 devotees brought these gifts as a convoy in 500 boxes in 30 vehicles. These include fruits, sweets, gold and silver items, dry fruits, traditional sweets of Nepal.
The gifts were transported in a convoy of around thirty vehicles from the Janakpur Dham Ramjanaki Temple in Nepal and arrived at Karsevakpuram on Saturday. They brought more than 3,000 gifts, including sweets, fruits, gold, silver, and other items.
The preparations are in full swing for the ‘pran-prathistha’ ceremony of Ram Lalla on January 22.
