Rana Daggubati is very impressed with the recently released sport based drama Jersey in which Natural star Nani and U Turn fame Shraddha Srinath played the lead roles. The movie was decent hit at the box office and both the lead actors received lot of applause for their performances. The sources say that after watching Jersey, Rana Daggubati bought the Tamil remake rights of Nani starrer and approached Vishnu Vishal to play the lead role in this remake.
The sources revealed that Rana Daggubati has approached Vishnu Vishal, who is also a cricketer in real life, for the movie revolving around a cricketer. Gowtham Tinnanuri helmed the original. It is heard that Rana Daggaubati is looking out for a Gen Y filmmaker to helm the Tamil version. Now we have to wait and see that who will get the opportunity to direct the Tamil version of Jersey.
On the otherside, Vishnu Vishal has also confirmed the news that he was being approached. The talk is on but the actor was not ready to reveal much.
