Rana is a part of the Daggubati family, which brought forth great actors like Venkatesh Daggubati, producer Suresh Daggubati and of course Rana Daggubati himself. Being a part of a huge joint family, the actor is extremely close with his extended family. Rana Daggubati, the son of Suresh Babu is currently busy in the promotional activities of the upcoming multi starrer Venky Mama in which Venkatesh Daggubati and Akkineni Naga Chaitanya are working together for a movie. As a part of the promotional activities of Venky Mama, Rana Daggubati, interviewed Naga Chaitanya to make him disclose a few interesting aspects of this upcoming film, which is helmed by KS Ravindra alias Bobby.

When Rana Daggubati asked Naga Chaitanya about his working experience with Venkatesh, to which Majili star replied, “ Though Venky Mama (Venkatesh) is jovial person but he is a completely different man when he comes before camera. To work with him, is really a very tough task. The way he emotes different expressions is amazing.”

Baahubali and Ghazi dame Rana Daggubati also asked Naga Chaitanya about the producer Suresh Babu, he replied, “ Suresh Babu is very strict when it comes to working. He used to inspect all the rooms after pack-up of shoot. Daily after the shoot, he enquires what exactly we were doing.”

Naga Chaitanya and Samantha Akkineni are very close to Rana Daggubati, who has become a really popular name all across the country especially after the phenomenal success of the ‘Baahubali’ franchise.

Venky Mama, which also has Raashi Khanna and Payal Rajput, in the female leads, is touted to be packed with comedy, which fans are looking forward to, especially after Venkatesh’s previous comedy film F2: Fun and Frustration. Venkatesh Daggubati is playing the role of a village man while Naga Chaitanya is an army person named Karthik. The movie is bankrolled jointly by Suresh Productions and Blue Planet Entertainment. Anup Rubens is the music composer and Prasad Murella is cranking the camera.
