According to the latest buzz in film industry, the makers of NTR biopic approached Rana Daggubati to play the role of Chandrababu Naidu in the film. It is known news that Nandamuri Balakrishna is currently busy in his upcoming film NTR, the biopic of his father and late Chief Minister of United Andhra Pradesh- N.T. Rama Rao. Balayya will be seen essaying the role of his father in the film, which is being helmed by Teja.
Recently Rana impressed the audiences with his terrific performance as a politican in Teja’s Nene Raju Nene Mantri. Now once again Teja is planning to bring Rana on the board to reprise the role of CM Naidu in this upcoming biopic.
Initially, there were reports that Dr. Rajasekhar will play CBN in this film. But, the latest buzz suggests that Rana might step into the shoes of the crucial role. Let us wait for an official confirmation in this regard.
Rana Daggubati’s biggest success came with the SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali, in which he played the menacing villain Bhallaladeva. His role in Teja’s Nene Raju Nene Mantri and Sankalp Reddy’s The Ghazi Attack have been well appreciated as well. Currently the talented star has a number of films in his kitty and will soon be making his debut in Mollywood with the historical Anizham Thirunal Marthanda Varma : The King of Travancore. His other films in the pipe line are the Tamil / Telugu bilingual Madai Thiranthu / 1945, Enai Nokki Payum Thotta and the Telugu / Hindi bilingual Haathi Mere Saathi.
