After 7 months of their marriage in April 2022, Bollywood star couple Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt became proud parents to their baby girl yesterday. On Sunday morning at around 7.30 am, Alia was admitted to the HN Reliance hospital in Mumbai.
She was accompanied by her husband Ranbir, mother Soni Razdan and mother-in-law Neetu Kapoor at the hospital. She delivered a healthy baby girl on Sunday noon at around 12.05 pm.
The happiest news was revealed by Alia herself on her Instagram page. She wrote, “And in the best news of our lives: Our baby is here.. and what a magical girl she is. We are officially bursting with love – blessed and obsessed as PARENTS!!! Love love love, Alia and Ranbir.”
Her post is doing rounds on the internet and the couple is receiving congratulatory wishes from all the celebrities in the film industry, their fans, friends and well-wishers. Some of her fans replied to her post, saying, “Lakshmi aayi hai.”
On the professional front, Ranbir and Alia were recently seen in a mythological epic drama Brahmastra, directed by Ayan Mukherji. The film also marks their first collaboration to appear as a reel couple together on screen. Of course, this is also a special project for the couple, as they fell in love with each other during its shoot.
