It is known that Ramayana directed by Nitesh Tiwari will feature Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram, Fidaa fame Sai Pallavi as Sita and Yash as Raavan. The upcoming big budget drama will hit the big screen in the second half of 2025. Nitesh Tiwari is all set to take Ramayana based on the Hindu epic on floors very soon. According to the latest report Ramayana will be formally announced on the auspicious occasion of Sri Rama Navami in April. Nitesh Tiwari and co. will commence the shoot in Mumbai this month, but the official announcement regarding this project will come out in April.
Last year it was heard that Yash had said no to essaying the role of Raavan in Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana as he was ‘very mindful of what his fans want’. But it has now been confirmed that Yash is also the part of Ramayana.
Sunny Deol will essay the role of Hanuman; Lara Dutt will make her screen presence in the role of Kaikeyi.
