Plus Points:
· Naga Shaurya
· College scenes
· Comedy
Minus Points:
· Story
· Direction
· Songs
· Climax
Performance: Naga Shaurya performed well in this film. He expressed the core emotion very well with his gestures at some places. Also the heroine Yukti Thareja also acted very well. She also impressed with her glamour. Shine Tom Chacko performed well as the villain. Satya’s comedy was the highlight of Rangabali movie. Goparaju Ramana especially in the role of the father acted brilliantly. His comedy timing as well as emotional acting is also very good. Sarath Kumar, Murali Sharma, Satya, Brahmaji, Saptagiri and others have done full justice to their roles. And the rest of the actors who appeared in other roles were also impressed with their performance.
Technical: The storyline of Rangabali is not as impressive as expected. And the movie is very slow at some places. Especially in the second half, at some places the screenplay goes silly with a treatment that does not generate interest. If we talk about technicians, Pawan Basamsetti failed as a writer. In terms of screenplay he was not really impressed. Music director Pawan CH’s songs are nothing short of amazing. If the editor Kartika Srinivas had trimmed the unnecessary scenes more tightly, it would have been a plus for the movie. Cinematography by Diwakar Mani is good. The production values by producer Sudhakar Cherukuri are good.
Analysis: Overall, Rangabali did not meet the expectations. The comedy scenes and some action scenes and emotional scenes are impressive. On the whole, if the director has elevated the content in the script well on the screen, it would have been a plus for the movie. The pre-climax and climax should be well designed. There is no strength in the character of the hero.
