The 65th Filmfare Awards were held in Guwahati on 15th February in ‘Awesome’ Assam and it was Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt starrer Gully Boy that swept top awards at the ceremony while Ananya Panday was honored with the Best Debut Actress trophy. Ranveer Singh was spotted in his energetic avatar at the 65th Filmfare Awards 2020 on his film ‘Gully Boy’ taking home the maximum number of awards. Now a video is going viral on the social media where Ranveer Singh is seen kissing his costar Amruta Subhash who essayed his on-screen mother and Siddhant Chaturvedi who played the popular character of MC Sher.
Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, and Amruta Subhas starrer Gully Boy swept with the maximum number of Filmfare awards. The movie won 13 awards in total.
Amruta Subash won the Best Actor Supporting Role (Female) award whereas Siddhant Chaturvedi won the Best Actor Supporting Role (Male) award.
The 65th Filmfare Awards was hosted by Karan Johar, Varun Dhawan, and Vicky Kaushal. Zoya Akhtar’s directorial venture ‘Gully Boy’ emerged as a big winner of the night. Alia Bhatt, Ranveer Singh, Amruta Subhash, and Siddhant Chaturvedi were all smiles as they posed for a pic after bagging 13 awards, breaking the record for most Filmfare wins previously held by Bhansali’ ‘Black’.
