Bollywood star actor Ranveer Singh, who is known for his uniqueness, was honoured with Etoile d’Or award at Marrakech International Film Festival, held at Morocco recently. The actor felt proud of him and shared his happiness on social media.
Taking to Instagram, he wrote, “Cinema is a unifying force! I feel immensely honoured that my work has transcended cultural and geographical boundaries, and had earned me such love and recognition in beautiful Morocco. I am overwhelmed with gratitude. Thank you to the Marrakech International Film Festival for bestowing me with the prestigious Etoile d’Or award! Proud to be an ambassador for my culture and represent Indian cinema on the world stage!”
On the work front, Ranveer will be seen in Cirkus film, which is being run under the direction of Rohit Shetty. Pooja Hegde is sharing screen space along with the actor. After Cirkus he will also be seen in Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, alongside Alia Bhatt. It is set to hit the screens on April 28.
