Rashmika Mandanna has now announced her next project. Kannanda lady is all set to star as a lead in a thrilling love story titled, ‘The Girlfriend’. This will be the 24th film of her career of seven years. The upcoming drama ‘The Girlfriend’ is touted to be a solo led thriller by Rashmika Mandanna, which is directed by Rahul Ravindran and it is presented by Allu Arvind’s Geetha Arts for their 51st film. Announced in the month of October, the movie The Girlfriend had its formal pooja ceremony today in Hyderabad, which was graced by SKN, ace producer Allu Aravind, directors Sai Rajesh, Maruthi, Pavan Sadineni, and others. Mega producer Allu Aravind initiated the shoot with the clapboard and handed the script over to the director. The regular shooting for the Girlfriend is set to commence very soon.
Rashmika Mandanna starrer is produced by Vidya Koppineedi and Dheeraj Mogilineni under the banners of Mass Movie Makers and Dheeraj Mogilineni Entertainment. Hesham Abdul Wahab has been brought on the board to render the tune.
On the otherside, Rashmika Mandanna will be seen next in Animal, Rainbow, D 51, Chhaava, Pushpa: The Rule’. Meanwhile, it has been rumoured that the young and happening actor Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika would reunite for a film soon.
