Telugu star Ram Charan‘s film with ace filmmaker Shankar are currently working together for RC15. Shankar Shanmugham is one of the most acclaimed directors in Indian cinema as he has delivered pan-India blockbusters such as Kollywood Rajinikanth starrer science fiction action films Enthiran and its sequel 2.0, which also featured Akshay Kumar as the main antagonist Pakshi Rajan.
The upcoming yet to be titled drama of Shankar is touted to be a political drama that revolves around electoral reforms. It stars Kiara Advani as the leading lady and marks her second collaboration with the ‘Mega Power Star’. The two were previously seen together in the Boyapati Srinu’ magnum opus Vinya Vidheya Rama, which was dud at the box office. The makers of Ram Charan starrer are said to have closed a stellar deal for the USA distribution rights of the film.
As per reports, the USA theatrical rights of RC15 starring Ram Charan and Kiara Advani were sold for a whopping Rs 17 crores which is the highest in Ram Charan’s career in the film industry excluding RRR. And this is one of the biggest USA distribution deals for a Telugu film.
Ram Charan starrer is bankrolled by Dil Raju and Shirish under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations.
