It was two decades ago, the Tollywood hot chunk Gopichand, born as Tottempudi Gopichand made his entry into Telugu cinema with the film ‘Tholi Valapu’ directed by Muthyala Subbaiah, and won the hearts of everyone. Released in 2001, the movie was a failure at the box office, however, Gopichand was given a handful of opportunities as a villain. Now he is coming up with another action drama Pakka Commercial where he is playing the lead role and sharing the screen space with Raashi Khann. According to Maruthi, Raashi Khanna was not the first choice of Pakka Commercial.
When Maruthi repeated Raashi Khanna for Pakka Commercial soon after his previous offering Prati Roju Pandage, many shocked. Recently during the media interaction, Maruthi revealed, “Raashi Khanna was not my first choice for this flick Pakka Commercial. In Sai Dharam Tej starrer Prati Roju Pandage, she played the role of Tik Tok star. I want to give her a full length character in one of my next movies but I did not want to cast her for Pakka Commercial. When I contacted the other actresses, they were busy and not able to allot the dates, so I contacted Raashi Khanna and she gave her nod.”
Pakka Commercial is gearing up for the grand release on 1st of July.
