SS Rajamouli’ magnum opus RRR was supposed to release in theatres on 7th January, 2022. Ahead of the film’s release, Rajamouli, and the actors Ram Charan and Jr NTR went to different cities to promote the film RRR in different languages. Recently the makers announced that the release of the film has been postponed.
Recently, Rajamouli, Jr NTR and Charan appeared on Kapil Sharma’s chat show. When Kapil asked the actors why they never acted in a film together before RRR. Kapil Sharam then asked whether producers never approached them or if they did not have the budget to cast Ram Charan and Jr NTR together. Rangasthalam star Ram Charan laughed out and revealed, “Second answer is right.”
Ram Charan and Jr NTR are playing the roles of freedom fighters Alluri Sitaraman Raju and Komaram Bheem, respectively. The film also features Kalank fame Alia Bhatt and Tanhaji fame Ajay Devgn, but Rajamouli recently clarified that they appear in cameos.
SS Rajamouli’ magnum opus RRR, which is bankrolled by DVV Danayya, had to be delayed indefinitely due to the fresh curbs in various states across India due to a spike in Covid-19 cases. It was supposed to release in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada.
