The NTR commemorative coin manufactured at the Hyderabad Mint compound has seen record sales. Twenty five thousand coins were sold in two and a half months.
In just two and a half months of release, 25 thousand coins were sold. Hyderabad Mint Chief General Manager VNR Naidu stated that this is a new record in the country.
On this occasion, VNR Naidu said, “Releasing of commemorative coins in the country started from 1964. First, coins of Jawahar Lal Nehru and then Mahatma Gandhi were released by the Centre. But till now there is only a record of 12,000 commemorative coins. But that record has been broken by NTR Commemorative Coin Breaks The Indian President Draupadi Murmu released this coin in Delhi on August 28. We made it available to the public from 29. In just two and a half months, 25,000 commemorative coins were sold.
The chairman of the committee T. D. Janardhan said, any program started in the name of NTR will be done without any hindrance. In the centenary year of NTR, our committee has published a special edition of NTR’s Legislative Assembly Speeches, NTR’s Historical Speeches, Shakapurushudu. Two programs were successfully organized in Vijayawada and Hyderabad and a grand tribute was paid.
