The Young Rebel star Prabhas’ upcoming film Jaan will be a romantic entertainer in which he will be seen sharing the screen space with Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava fame Pooaj Hegde. The shooting of this film Jaan started last year and Prabhas shifted his focus to Saaho. Now as Saaho has hit the theaters, Prabhas is getting ready to start the shoot of his romantic drama Jaan. According to the latest buzz in the film industry, Prabhas and Pooja Hegde starrer Jaan is based on reincarnation theme.
Earlier there was a strong buzz in the film industry that Prabhas will be seen playing the role palm reader and Pooja Hegde will make her screen presence in the role of a teacher. But now the sources close to the makers revealed that Pooja Hegde will essay the role of a violin teacher in the past and Prabhas a small time thief, and their reincarnation will have a role reversal in Jaan. While Prabhas will be seen teaching Violin and Pooja Hegde in the crazy role.
The upcoming romantic film Jaan starring Prabhas and Pooja Hegde is set during 1970s backdrop in Europe. UV Creations and Gopikrishna Movies are on the board to bankroll this film, which will be released next year. Amit Trivedi has been roped in to render the tune and the movie is being shot simultaneously in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
According to reports,Prabhas will be appearing in two different looks in Jaan. For one look, he will be sporting a moustache and beard and for the other it will be a clean shaven look.
Prabhas’ previous offering was Saaho, directed by Sujeeth, and bankrolled by V Vamshi Krishna Reddy and Pramod Uppalapati under the banner UV Creations on a budget of Rs 300 crore. the film also had Neil Nitin Mukesh, Lal, Arun Vijay, Mandira Bedi, Jackie Shroff, Vennela Kishore, Mahesh Manjrekar and Chunkey Pandey in supporting roles.
