Recently there was as strong buzz in the film industry that Nandini Reddy is going to helm Lust Stories starring bold diva Amala Paul and versatile actor Jagapathi Babu. Now remake specialist Nandin Reddy has busted the rumor and confirmed the news that she is not going to direct Lust Stories in Telugu.
Nandini Reddy, who specializes in remakes, said, “So why exactly would Netflix want to remake the Lust stories which already have subtitles?” Though she has refuted the rumor but maintained silence about her project with Amala Paul and Jagapathi Babu.
To date Nandini Reddy has helmed 4 movies, in which 2 movies- Jabardasth, was a remake of Band Baaja Baaraat and her recent offering Oh baby was the remake of Korean movie Miss Granny.
Lust Stories is a popular series on Netflix and it is being heard that it is all set to get a remake in Telugu. There will be four segments in this anthology. Tharun Bhascker, Sankalp Reddy, and Sandeep Vanga are on the board to helm three versions of Lust Stories.
On the other hand, Nandini Reddy has joined her hand with Ashwini Dutt’s daughter for her next project. Very soon the makers will reveal the cast and crew of this film.
