Uday Kiran, was one of the popular actor of Telugu film industry, who died by suicide on 5th January, 2014. He was found hanging himself in his flat at Srinagar colony in Hyderabad and the reason behind his suicide was speculated to be depression and the financial crisis. Many believe that Uday was shunned and ‘ostracised’ by Telugu industry due to lack of success.
His popular movies are Chitram, Nuvvu Nenu, and Manasantha Nuvve, all of which were commercial hits and earned him the title of a ‘Hattrick Hero’. However, the actor also acted in several commercially unsuccessful movies. Uday Kiran earned the tag of a ‘Lover Boy’.
