PM Narendra Modi ladued Telugu cinema and recently, also mentioned about SS Rajamouli‘s Baahubali and Allu Arjun’s Pushpa as well. In his speech,  Prime Miister mentioned that Tollywood is known for making the nation proud globally with its quality of filmmaking. Tollywood is going places across the globe.

Its popularity is not just among Telugu-speaking people but the entire world now discusses Tollywood. From the silver screen to OTT platform, Tollywood has become an area of discussion. Even outside India, people love to watch Telugu  movies. Ram Gopal Varma aka RGV responded on this issue by sharing a post on Twitter and said that  that since Modi has praised them, Tollywood cinema doesn’t need to celebrate now with champagne.

RGV wrote on Twitter: Tollywood doesn’t need to do breakdance with champagne because PM praised ..He was talking only about Bahubali,Pushpa and not the other 150 films we make every year ..if @ssrajamouli and @alluarjun were Kannadigas he would have hailed SANDALWOOD.

Allu Arjun starrer Pushpa: The Rise,  which has Rashmika Mandanna in the female lead role, helmed by Sukaumar was released worldwide on 17th December.  And it is running successfully at the box office. On the otherside, movie lover are eagerly waiting for the release of  Rajamouli’ magnum opus RRR.
