Currently in South India there has been many Pan Indian projects that are being made and of the list Indian 2 will stand out. This film as the titled suggests is the remake to block buster Indian which got released two decades back. One of the top directors Shankar has been directing this flick with huge budget.
This will be his next film after his moderate success 2.0. Apparently Lyca Productions which produced 2.0 has come forward to produce Indian 2 as well. Currently shoot of this film was halted due to lock down and makers are now in huge pressure as they have been already facing huge losses at the moment with no shooting.
Already Indian 2 has suffered huge losses with unfortunate accident happened on the sets. Three technicians on the sets have died due to an accident which halted the shoot once. However with shoot about to start, corona virus pandemic has pressed halt buttons to the shoot.
Now the latest update is that there are huge differences between director and producer of the movie. Apparently director Shankar has designed Bobby Simha role specially and this character is going to dominate Kamal Hassan as well. But producers are having second thoughts about this role and they are opposing.
