Valmiki is remake of Tamil movie Jigarthanda in which Mega Prince Varun Tej will be seen playing villain. The film also has Atharva Murali and Pooja Hegde. The movie is being helmed by Harish Shankar and is jointly produced Ram Achanta and Gopi Achanta on 14 Reels Plus LLP whereas the film has the music by Mickey J Meyer. Now according to the latest update, Ajay Devgn who will be seen playing crucial role in Rajamouli’ RRR, is all set to bankroll the Hindi remake of Valmiki in which Baahubali fame Tamannah Bhatia will play the female lead.
It is known news Varun Tej is reprising the role essayed by Bobby Simha, Atharva Murali is stepping into Siddharth’s shoes for the Telugu version. It is heard that Hindi remake of Valmiki will be produced by Ajay Devgn and milky beauty Tamannah Bhatia will play the female lead. Sanjay Dutt will be seen in the role of Bobby Simha, whereas Karthik Aryan will be reprising the role essayed by Siddharth.
The original version Jigarthanda has won two National Awards for Best Supporting Actor and best editing. Tamannah Bhatia who was last seen in horror drama Devi 2 starring Prabhudeva, is well known face for Bollywood audiences.
