The young actor Vijay Deverakonda’ upcoming movie Hero is rumoured to be made on a staggering budget of Rs 50 crore. Vijay Deverakonda who has delivered few hit movies like Arjun Reddy, Geetha Govindam and Taxiwaala, is now coming up with an upcoming drama Hero. Touted to be a sports musical, this one has Vijay Deverakonda in the role of a professional biker. According to sources, Geetha Govindam fame star is currently getting trained in bike racing. While Beyond the Clouds-fame Malavika Mohanan will be seen playing the female lead. This is the first time when Vijay Deverakonda and Malavika Mohanan are going to work together for Hero.
Hero which is being bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers, will release simultaneously in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada on the lavish budget of Rs 50 Cr. It also happens to be Anand Annamalai’s debut directorial venture. Previously, he has penned the screenplay for Kuttrame Thandanai along with Manikandan.
Hero will be the second Tamil film of Vijay Deverakonda after Anand Shankar’s political drama, NOTA, which was ended up commercially flop at the box office. Currently Vijay is waiting for the release of Dear Comrade.
