Performance: The casting is perfect. Nandamuri Balakrishna steals the show imperially once again. He suits his role every bit and his chiseled body that captures quite a few frames would surely be the envy of every man. Balakrishna is good in way of dialogue delivery, action, emotions and romances too, a perfect combination indeed! His punched dialogues are ear feast for his fans. The way Balakrishna carried emotional scenes and dialogues are appreciable. Vedhika looks gorgeous and delivers noteworthy performance. Sonal Chauhan oozes oomphs and suitable for this role. Prakash Raj, Bhumika Chawla, Sayaji Shinde, and others performed accordingly.

Technical: The concept of the movie is very interesting. KS Ravikumar has handled the story and scenes very well. The storyline is predictable. The background score by Chirantan Bhat is loud while his songs, Adugadugo and Padthadu are visually appealing. Cinematography by Ram Prasad captures the over the top gravity-defying action sequences well while editing by Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao should have been smooth in some scenes.

Analysis: Balakrishna’s energetic performance is highlighted. And he surprises everyone in two shades. The esthetic visuals, melodies background score, perfect casting make the movie Ruler watchable. The audience can enjoy Ruler along with their family.
