Kalki 2898 AD is an upcoming science fiction drama, which has Rebel star Prabhas in the lead role. The movie cast comprises some of India’s brightest stars and most accomplished performers. The lead star is played by Prabhas, who fans of Rajamouli’s filmography will instantly recognize as the lead star of Baahubali series- Baahubali: The Beginning and Baahubali 2: The Conclusion. B Town lady Deepika Padukone is playing the female lead in this big budget film which is helmed by Nag Ashwin.
Recently during an interview, the dialogue writer, Sai Madhav Burra spoke about Prabhas starrer and said, “A film like Kalki 2898 AD has not come till now, not just in Telugu Film Industry but in the entire Indian film industry. Kalki 2989 AD’ genre has never been explored before in the Indian cinema. Prabhas starrer is a next level movie and you will get the feel of watching a Hollywood movie, not a Telugu or Indian film.”
Kalki 2989 AD also has Big B aka Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, and Disha Patani, in the crucial roles. Ashwini Dutt is producing Prabhas starrer under the banner of Vyjayanthi Movies, whereas Santosh Narayanan is rendering the tune.
