This is the first time, Fidaa fame Sai Pallavi is working with Rana Daggubati for an upcoming film Virata Pravam which is one of the much hyped movie of Telugu film industry. In this film Rana Daggubati is playing a naxalite. Now according to the latest update, Rana Daggubati and Sai Pallavi starrer Virata Parvam, which was slated to hit the theaters on 30th April, has been postponed due to the surge in Coronavirus cases. The production houses- Suresh Productions and SLV Cinemas issued a joint statement on behalf of the team to announce the postponement of Virata Parvam.
Inspired by true events of the 1990s, Rana Daggubati is essaying the role of Comrade Ravanna whereas Sai Pallavi will be seen as his admirer named Vennela. Apart from the lead pair, Virata Parvam also has Priyamani, Nandita Das, Naveen Chandra, Zareena Wahab, Eswari Rao and Sai Chand in important roles.
Virata Parvam, directed by Venu Udugula, has cinematography by Dani Sanchez Lopez and Divakar Mani whereas Suresh Bobbili is scoring the music.
On the otherside, Sai Pallavi will be seen playing the female lead in Naga Chaitanya starrer Love Story whereas Rana is working with Pawan Kalyan in Ayyapanum Koshiyum remake.
