It is known news that the young and happening actor Vijay Deverakonda romanced with Karnataka beauty Rashmika Mandanna in Dear Comrade, which has romance, humor and drama. Though the movie Dear Comrade was turned out commercially flop at the box office but the performance of Vijay and Rashmika were highlighted. According to the latest buzz in the film industry, Rashmika Mandanna was not the first choice of Dear Comrade, Initially the makers wanted to rope Fidaa girl Sai Pallavi in this film to romance with Vijay Deverakonda.
Sai Pallavi rejected the offer of Dear Comrade as she was not interested in kissing and other scenes. So the makers dropped the idea to rope Premam girl Sai Pallavi and the role fell in the lap of Rashmika Mandanna.
Dear Comrade is directed by Bharat Kamma and is produced by Mythri Movie Makers and Yash Rangineni. The movie was released on 26th July 2019 in all four languages- Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada. Apart from Dear Comrade, Rashmika has also romanced with Vijya Deverakonda in superhit film Geetha Govindam.
Currently Sai Pallavi is sharing the screen space with Akkineni Naga Chaitanya in Love Story in the direction of Sekhar Kammula, and she is also the part of Rana Daggubati starrer Virata Parvam.
