Baahubali and Ghazi fame Rana Daggubati has gone through a tremendous physical transformation for his upcoming period film Virata Parvam 1992, which has Sai Pallavi in the female lead role. Currently the shoot is going on at the brisk pace. According to the latest update, Sai Pallavi will be seen playing a Warangal girl in Virata Parvam.
It is said that Rana Daggubati has lost enormous weight for his upcoming film Virata Parvam. It is a period flick, which is predominantly a romantic film with many action sequences. Virata Parvam was announced a few months ago but went on floors recently.
The movie is being bankrolled by Suresh Babu and Sudhakar Cherukuri jointly under Suresh Productions and Sri Lakshmi Venkateswara Cinemas LLP banners. This is the first time Rana Daggubati and Sai Pallavi are working together for this much awaited periodic drama.
Virata Parvam is a periodic love story with the base of Naxalism and Sai Pallavi will be seen as Warangal girl and will make her screen presence as a folk singer.
Apart from Virata Parvam, Rana Daggubati is also busy in his upcoming multilingual project Hathi Mere Sathi, which also has Vishnu Vishal in an important role. Sai Pallavi was last seen in Suriya starrer NGK which was ended up commercially flop.
