If ongoing buzz in media and film industry are to be believed, Saiee Manjrekar, who is the daughter of Bollywood film maker and actor Mahesh Manjrekar, is all set to play the female lead in Mahesh Babu’ production venture Major in which Adivi Sesh is playing the lead role.
Saiee Manjrekar is well known face for the Hindi movie lovers as she made her debut with action drama Dabangg 3 in which Salman Khan played the lead role. She is also making her debut in Telugu film Industry with Varun Tej starrer Boxer.
The reports are coming that the makers of Major approached Saiee Manjrekar in Mahesh Babu’s latest production venture which has Adivi Sesh. Major is a bilingual movie which will be made in Hindi and Telugu languages. Saiee Manjrekar is expected to join the shoot of Major from next month in Hyderabad.
Mahesh Babu’ production venture Major , directed by Sashi Kiran Tikka, is inspired by the life of NSG commando Sandeep Unnikrishnan who was martyred in the 26/11 Mumbai terrorist attacks in the year 2008. The film also has Sobhita Dhulipala as a leading lady. Kshanam fame Adivi Sesh is playing the title role in this movie, which is bankrolled under the banner of GMB Entertainment.
