Saindhav Movie Review and Rating: Saindhav starring Venkatesh, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Shraddha Srinath, Andrea Jeremiah, and others, helmed by Sailesh Kolanu hit the theaters on 13th January. Let’s see the story of Sindhav.

Story: Saindhav Koneru, a.k.a SaiKo (Venkatesh) leads a happy life with his daughter Gayathri (Sara), who is taken care of by Manogya (Shraddha Srinath), a cab driver.  Saindhav Koneru, who has a past, leaves everything behind and lives for his daughter. But, Gayathri is suffering from spinal muscular entropy. Gayathri needs to be given an injection worth 17 crores. What does Saindhav do for that money? Does he save his daughter? What is the fight with Vikas Malik (Nawazuddin) in this sequence? What are the roles of Renu (Ruhani Sharma) and Jasmine (Andrea Jeremiah)? To get these answers, one should watch the movie Sindhav on the silver screen.

 Plus Points:

·         Venkatesh’s performance

·         Nawazuddin’s performance

·         Action sequences

 Minus Points:

·         Narration

·         Less entertainment

·         BGM

Performance: Venkatesh looks very powerful in the role of Saindhav Koneru, a psycho. He impresses with the wild action elements as well as the emotions. His performances are impressive. Moreover, with his body language, in some action and emotional sequences and with his stylish looks, Venkatesh acts very well. Arya, who plays a cameo role, also impresses the viewers. Shraddha Srinath who plays another key role also acts very well. Andrea Jeremiah is fine in the role of Jasmine. Dr. Ruhani Sharma’s performance as Renu is also good. Jishu Sengupta, Mukesh Rishi, Jayaprakash and the rest of the cast have also acted well.

Technical: Talking about technicians, the director Shailesh Kolana’s take is good. However, he failed to write a good screenplay. Music director Santhosh Narayanan’s music is fine. But the background score could have been better in some key scenes. Cinematography work by S Manikandan is very good.  The editing is ok. The production values are very good.

Analysis: The main plot of the movie, Saindhav’s role, and the performance of the actors are good. The missing interesting elements in the screenplay, slow narration at some places, and boring scenes are the minuses of the movie. Overall, Venkatesh’s performance and some action elements in this movie are impressive.

 Rating : 3/5
