The movie lovers are eagerly awaiting the much-anticipated release of Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire, a colossal cinematic endeavor starring Young Rebel star Prabhas in the lead role, which is directed by Prashanth Neel. The upcoming action drama has Shruti Haasan as the leading lady.
Since the announcement, the social media has split into two factions, fueled by a rumour suggesting Salaar is a remake of Ugram. In a recent interview, the film’s producer, Vijay Kiragandur, dispelled any connection between the two projects- Salaar and Ugram, emphasizing Prashanth Neel’s ability to craft unique narratives.
Salaar producer has also revealed that they have decided to release Prabhas and Shruti Haasan starrer on December 22 due to astrological reasons. The producer Vijay Kiragandur said that they do believe in certain aspects. And added “That is the reason we did notprepone the film despite knowing that Dunki and Aquaman are releasing a day earlier.” He further said: We are already having the meetings with exhibitors and distributors. When we have a solo release, occupancy generally will be around 60-70 %.
Apart from the lead actors, the movie also has versatile actor Jagapathi Babu, Easwari Rao, Sriya Reddy, Prithviraj Sukumaran, and Tinnu Anand in the important roles.
The big budget drama is being bankrolled by Hombale Films and has the music by Ravi Basrur.
