Bollywood actor Salman Khan is making his debut in Tollywood with an upcoming political drama Godfather which has Salman Khan in the lead role and the film which is helmed by Mohan Raja, is gearing up for the grand release this month. On Saturday, Chiranjeevi and Salman Khan launched the Hindi trailer of the film and on this occasion Kick star spoke about how the actors from the north and south can work together to make their films even more successful.
Salman Khan also opened up about his casting in the film and joked about casting couch. Salman Khan said, “Casting couch does exist in the film industry. We were doing a commercial together of Thumps Up in Thailand. We both flew down together in Thailand. The only person apart from me who slept on my couch is Chiranjeevi garu. We landed at about 1.30- 2.00 am, we sat and spoke and he had to catch a flight, I said to him to go to bedroom and sleep and he said ‘I will sleep on the couch’. Now, how to say I sleep on the couch? So, only one person apart from me who slept on my couch is Chiranjeevi garu, this is a casting couch and because of this, I was cast in this film Godfather.
