Samantha Akkineni is currently busy working on a couple of interesting films. She will be seen playing the titular role in Rudhramadevi fame Gunasekhar‘s Shakuntalam and currently she is working for upcoming Tamil film Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal, in the direction of Vignesh Shivan that has Nayantara and Vijay Sethupathi in the lead role. Now according to the latest buzz in the film industry, Samantha Akkineni will be seen playing the role of a Zombie in an upcoming film Revenge of Death.
The recently released movie Zombie Reddy, helmed by Prashanth Varma, received positive response by the movie lovers and turned out to be a profitable venture. The film has Teja Sajja in the lead role. Now the makers of Zombie Reddy are coming up with a sequel which is titled Revenge of Death and Prashanth Varma is trying to rope Samanth Akkineni in this film.
The reports are coming that Prashanth Varma narrated the story to Oh Baby actress and as the actress liked the story, gave her a nod.
On the other side, Majili and Rangasthalam fame Samantha is making her debut in the digital world with The Family Man 2 co starring Manoj Bajpayee and Priyamani, in which she is playing the negative role.
