After tying the knot with Akkineni Naga Chaitanya, Samantha Ruth Prabhu proudly changed her social media handle to ‘Samantha Akkineni’. There were many rumors that Samantha’ parents were not quite happy with the wedding and this is the reason most of her relatives were not seen in her wedding. But later a photograph went viral on the social media, in which Samantha’ parents were spotted posing with the couple during the wedding.
About her parent, Samantha Akkineni said “My parents lead a very simple life and they don’t even watch films. It may be a surprise, but my parents are not aware that I am a big actress in South Indian film Industry.”
Oh Baby girl added, “My parents knew that Akkineni Naga Chaitanya was my best friend. They were very happy when they came to know that I was getting married to my best friend and becoming the daughter-in-law of the great Akkinenis.”
Earlier during an interview, Samantha had said that the responsibility on her shoulders doubled after she became the daughter-in-law of the Akkineni family. Sam had also said, “I am blessed to have become a part of such an understanding Akkineni family.”
On the work front, Samantha will be seen playing a negative role in the second season of The Family Man.
