Yashoda is a dream project of the South Siren Samantha Ruth Prabhu. The film was released in theatres on November 11, worldwide. Ahead of its release, Samantha herself felt nervous about the film’s outcome, despite low promotions. But for the unversed, the film has achieved a grand success and termed as a thrilling blockbuster.
Feeling happy, Sam expressed her gratitude towards the people for making the film a successful story. Taking to Instagram, she wrote, “Day made… Thank you for the encouragement and appreciation. Feel motivated to work harder. Ever grateful.” Her post is going viral on social media and many congratulatory wishers have been in for the star actress.

The film is directed by the duo Hari-Harish and produced by Sivelenka Krishna Prasad under Sridevi Movies banner. Music Maestro Mani Sharma rendered music. Varalaxmi SarathKumar, Unni Mukundan, Murali Sharma, Rao Ramesh, Sampath Raj, Shatru, Divya Sripada and others are seen in titular roles.
