We have already reported that Samantha Akkineni have wrapped up the shoot of her upcoming mythological drama Shakuntalam, which is helmed by Gunasekhar who is known for making woman centric movie Rudhramadevi in which Anushka Shetty and Rana Daggubati played the lead roles.
In Shakuntalam, she is essaying the titular role. Currently Samantha Akkineni is in Pondicherry for the upcoming Tamil film ‘Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal’ which is a romantic comedy being directed by Vignesh Shivan and also starring lady superstar Nayanthara. It is known that Vignesh Shivan and Nayanthara are dating each other and they are expected to tie the knot soon.
The sources close to the makers of Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal revealed that Samantha Akkineni will wrap up the shoot of her part in 15 day schedule. The film also features Tamil actor Vijay Sethupathi in the lead roles. Nayanthara’ beau Vignesh Shivan is helming this crazy project, which is being bankrolled by Lalit Kumar’s 7 Screen Studios in association with Vignesh’ home banner Rowdy Pictures.
The project ‘Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal’ marks Vignesh Shivan reunion with Vijay Sethupathi. They had previously worked together in Naanum Rowdy Dhaan. The film also stars Sya Raa Narasimha Reddy and Darbar fame Nayanthara.
