South diva Samantha Ruth Prabhu, who swayed the nation with “Oo Antava” from Allu Arjun starrer Pushpa: The Rise, suffered an injury while shooting for the Indian adaptation of “Citadel”. The actress who will be seen in action thriller web series Citadel alongside Varun Dhawan in the Raj and DK helmed show, took to her Instagram handle to share a pic of her bruised hands. Sharing the photo, she captioned it , Perks of action.
Few days ago, Samantha also shared a video in which she was seen practicing action sequences with stunt performer and action director Yannick Ben. She was seen preparing for the action shoot in Nainital.
While the Hindi version of Citadel stars Samantha and Varun Dhawan, the original one features our Desi girl Priyanka Chopra along with Richard Madden. The international version’s first look was recently unveiled by the makers and it instantly took internet by storm.
Meanwhile, for Citadel (Hindi version), Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK will also serve as executive producers. The filmmakers had earlier collaborated with Samantha for the web series The Family Man co starring Manoj Bajpayee and Priyamani.
Meanwhile, Samantha is waiting for the release of the mythological film Shaakuntalam, which was scheduled to be released this month, on 17th February but got postponed.
