Samantha Akkineni’s previous offering U Turn has turned out commercially flop at the box office and now all eyes are on her next upcoming film Super Deluxe. A new treat by Samantha is on the way! According to the latest update, the first look poster of Super Deluxe will be out on 8th October 2018. Thiagarajan Kumararaja who made his debut with Aaranya Kaandam in Kollywood, is helming Super Deluxe. Vijay Sethupathi, Samantha Akkineni and Fahadh Faasil are playing the lead roles.
Vijay Sethupathi shared a poster that first look of Super Deluxe will be out on 8th October. He tweeted, “Oru Valiya.. Kadaisiya.. Semaya.. Samantha Akkineni is playing the role of Vaembu in the film. Recently during the media interaction, Samantha Akkineni opened up about this film Super Deluxe and said, “It is an original film and I am looking forward to it. The trends are changing in both Telugu and Tamil. The people want to see something new and this is something that is going to be shockingly new.”
In the month of January, the director Thiagarajan Kumararaja revealed the look of Samantha Akkineni from the film and it shows Samantha in an avatar we have never seen before. Dressed in a shirt and skirt, the actress was seen holding a butcher knife aiming to sever the head of a man.
It has also come out that Vijay Sethupathi will be seen essaying the role of a transperson named Shipa in Super Deluxe. Early this year, the makers released the teaser, which received thumbing response from the critics and audience.
Super Deluxe also has three directors as co-writers, Nalan Kumarasamy, Mysskin, and Neelan Shankar. The film will have music by Yuvan Shankar Raja and has cinematography by PS Vinod and Nirav Shah.
On the otherside, very soon Samantha and Naga Chaitanya will be seen sharing the screen space in the direction of Shiva Niravana.
