Samantha Akkineni is currently busy in the promotional activities of her upcoming film Jaanu, which is slated to hit the theaters on this Friday. Recently during the media interaction, Samantha Akkineni was asked about Sharwanand’ contribution to her performance in the film Jaanu, to which she replied, “If not for Sharwanand, this film Jaanu would have not been possible at all. I couldn’t have imagined other than Sharwanand in the role. We pushed each other to do better and always looked at each other for approval of several scenes during the shoot of the movie.”
About her role in Jaanu, Samantha Akkineni said, “I have given my heart and soul for Jaanu. According to me, this is my best performance to date in my filmy career. I am hoping that the audience will feel the same after the release of the film.”
Samantha Akkineni added, “When I saw 96, I fell in awe of Trisha Krishnan’ performance. But i have given my own spin to this role in Jaanu and did not try to copy Trisha Krishnan.”
Samantha concluded it by saying that she is very happy with her career in film industry.
Samantha and Sharwanand starrer romantic movie Jaanu, is helmed by Prem Kumar and is bankrolled by Dil Raju. Jaanu is official remake of Tamil movie 96 starring Trisha and Vijay Sethupathi.
