It is known that South diva Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Vijay Deverakonda are currently working together for an upcoming yet-untitled Telugu family entertainer, which is progressing at the brisk pace in Kashmir. The upcoming film marks their second collaboration after Nag Ashwin’ Mahanati.
Yesterday Samantha celebrated her birthday. Vijay Deverakonda, her co-star in the film, arranged a sweet surprise for her as they continued shooting on her birthday. He posted a video of the surprise on his YouTube channel, that showed him and the rest of the crew members pulling an elaborate prank on birthday girl Sam. The video revealed that VD and the rest of the team created a scene, complete with narration, in which Samantha had to deliver an emotional dialogue to Arjun Reddy star. When it was VD’ turn to respond, he called the actress by her real name Samantha, making her laugh. The video also featured Samantha cutting a cake with Vijay Deverakonda and other crew members on the set. The video is going viral on social media.
Now Samantha responded to Vijay’ tweet and thanked to him by tweeting: The sweetest surprise It was freezing and we had a lot of work to do . But that didn’t stop these scamsters from pulling off this elaborate surprise – Thank you.”
