It is a special for many reasons and one of the reasons for that was that several popular South Asian celebrities made it to the event including Bridgerton star Simone Ashely who made her Met Gala debut. Bridgerton star Simone Ashley, Nicola Coughlan, Phoebe Dynevor, and Rege-Jean Page attended the Met Gala 2022 in their stylish best. Popular Netflix series Bridgerton’s star cast took over the red carpet at the Met Gala 2022 and put forth fashion savvy looks. Simone Ashley wore a glamorous golden and black bustier with a figure hugging skirt by Moschino. Simone; dress also featured an elaborate bow and a floor-sweeping train and complemented the Gilded Glamour dress code.
Simone Ashley styled her tresses in a slicked-back play on a popular wet hair trend, and paired it with minimal makeup with De Beers jewels against the glittering bodice.
Nicola Coughlan also walked the Met Gala red carpet in a dramatic pink-and-black gown.
On the work front, Samantha Ruth Prabhu will be seen in Shaakuntalam, Citadel, Yashoda and Arrangements of Love.
