Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt took to microblogging page today to announce that he has recovered from a recent health scare -lung cancer. Today on the occasion of his twins, Shahraan and Iqra’s 10th birthday, Sanjay Dutt shared this happy news to his fans.
Bollywood Khalnayak Sanjay Dutt said, “This wouldn’t have been possible without the unwavering faith and support from all of you. I am grateful to my family, friends and fans who have stood by me.” The actor thanked everyone for their love, kindness and the countless blessings.
This year in the month of August, Sanjay Dutt had announced on social media that he was taking a break from work for medical reasons. Later it was reported that he had been diagnosed with lung cancer and he underwent chemotherapy treatment at a hospital in Mumbai.

On the work front, Sanjay Dutt was last seen in Mahesh Bhatt’ directorial venture Sadak 2, in which Alia Bhatt, Aditya Roy Kapur and Pooja Bhatt played the lead role. The film Sadak 2 was released on Disney+Hotstar in the month of August but received negative response by the movie lovers. He is also the part of KGF Chapter 2, Torbaaz, Bhuj: The Pride Of India and Shamshera.
