Jagapathi Babu role in Republic: After long delays in release dates due to the Coronavirus pandemic, the makers of Sai Dharam Tej’ upcoming movie Republic decided to release the movie on 1st October. Few days ago, the movie completed the censor formalities and received U/A certificate from the regional censor board.
Supreme hero who won the hearts of the movie lovers with his last outing Solo Brathuke So Better, the first movie to release in theatres soon after the 1st wave of lockdown, is confident of getting a break at the box office with this upcoming socio political drama which is helmed by Deva Katta. It is known that Jagapathi Babu is also the part of Republic and he is playing a crucial role. Recently during the media interaction, Jagapathy Babu talked about his role in Republic and revealed that he is playing a Senior IAS officer and the father of Sai Dharam Tej who is a young bureaucrat.
The versatile actor Jagapathi Babu revealed, “I have thoroughly enjoyed playing the role of a public servant.. The dimensions and layers of my role are something to watch out for. I want to thank the director Deva Katta for writing such an interesting character.”
The sources close to the team of Republic revealed that conflict between father and son is also going to be a big highlight. Ramya Krishna is also the part of Deva Katta’ directorial venture.
