Pre-eminent Tollywood missile Krishnam Raju, who had led an excellent career in the Telugu film industry, passed away at the early hours of Sunday, September 11. He had been suffering from severe health complications and was getting treatment at a private hospital. He was 82 years old. He breathed his last in Hyderabad.

His health couldn’t improve and there was no chance for the actor to get discharged from the hospital. His age factor is also one of the cause for his demise. This is a great loss for Southern Film Industry and celebrities are mourning the death of Rebel Star on various social media platforms.

Krishnam Raju is well known for his hit pictures like Amara Deepam, Katakatala Rudrayya, Manavoori Pandavulu, Tandra Paparayudu,etc. Recently, he was last seen in Prabhas’s romantic drama Radhe Shyam, and this is the last movie in Krishnam Raju’s film career.

Krishnam Raju was the first actor to have served as a Union minister in the cabinet of former prime minister of India Atal Bihari Vajpayee. He was an actor-turned-politician and also served as a leader of Bharatiya Janata Party.
