Zero is the latest victim of online piracy after Kollywood superstar Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar and Amy Jackson starrer 2.0, which was also leaked on Tamilrockers on the day of its release. The notorious website hosts pirated copies of new movies. Despite the Madras High Court order to block more than 12,000 websites, including 2,000 Tamilrockers sites, it continues to leak latest big budget movies. And this will definitely affect the box-office business of Zero. The fake accounts on Twitter are leaking various stills from the film on social media sites.
For a long time, B-town, K-town and T-town have been facing the wrath of online piracy. Despite celebrities requesting to stop the piracy, the people are unaffected by it. Before Zero, Thugs Of Hindostan and 2.0 were leaked as well.
Shahrukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma starrer Zero got released this Friday amidst a lot of expectations. Considering the excellent advance booking, it was expected that Zero would have record-breaking opening at the box office, but the first day collections are not up to the mark. Shahrukh Khan is playing a vertically challenged man in this Aanand L. Rai directorial venture.
The trade analyst Sumit Kadel shared the collection figure of Zero on twitter Friday evening, “#Zero Day-1 Heading towards Rs 20-21 cr nett. Weak word of mouth came into play after noon shows. [sic].”

Zero is jointly produced by Colour Yellow Productions and Red Chillies Entertainment’s Gauri Khan, and stars Shah Rukh Khan, Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif. Produced on an budget of Rs 200 Cr, Zero is Shahrukh Khan’s most expensive film.
