Per the released government report, India’s quarterly GDP has dropped to 5 percent which is used to be 5.8 percent when compared to the last quarter of the financial year. On to this recently Former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has called the country as it is deeply worrying due to such low figures of GDP growth rate of 5% which hints that “we are in the midst of a prolonged slowdown”.
But the current government has turned down his comments saying it doesn’t follow the Singh’s analysis because today India has turned out to be the fifth-largest economy from 11th during his time.
However, Shiv Shena has supported Manmohan Singh’s comments on slowly down economy and gone to hit out the BJP government. Shiv Shena asked to pay attention to Singh’s warning and do not drag politics in here.
Shiv Sena has mentioned in its editorial mouthpiece as follows, “National interest lies in listening to Manmohan Singh’s advice. There should be no politics around the economic slowdown. Kashmir and economic slowdown are two different issues. The economy is in the doldrums.”
It further added saying, “A sane man like Manmohan has said that no politics should be played around this slowdown. We should take the help of experts and overcome it. It is time we heard his advice”
