The issue of privatization of Visakhapatnam steel plant in Andhra Pradesh is causing a political uproar. Political parties, organizations, public associations and some people are raising their voices against privatization. Former CBI JD VV Lakshminarayana placed the bid for the steel plant for the raw material, has announced that he is ready to work with Evangelist and founder president of Praja Shanti Party KA Paul in this regard. CBI former joint director VV Lakshminarayana said on Wednesday that he had given a letter in writing evincing interest to buy the Visakhapatnam steel plant by paying double the amount.
KA Paul said Visakhapatnam Steel Plant should not be privatised at any cost and he would take a legal route to fight against the Union government’s decision. He added that he would fight along with the people to save the steel plant from privatization.
